Review by hotel critic
Having recently returned from a stay at Kilkea Castle, I found it offers a productive environment for business travelers while maintaining a touch of charm. The new conference centre, a collaboration with Mavrix, makes virtual conferencing seamless, and I appreciated the reliable free Wi-Fi throughout the facility. Our needs were met by the diligent staff, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The carriage rooms we stayed in were comfortable and included essential amenities for a remote working setup. The peaceful grounds offered a welcome distraction for short breaks, perfect for stretching my legs amid a busy schedule. Dining options were solid; I enjoyed fresh meals at the 1180 Restaurant, which catered well to various dietary requirements. When downtime was needed, the fitness centre and spa were great for unwinding after work hours. Kilkea Castle provides a unique backdrop for business activities while wrapping you in a bit of history—ideal for blending work and leisure without compromise. I’d recommend it for those looking to combine productivity with a distinctive experience.
